Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Cothrom Risk & Insurance Services is a fast-growing company seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager for their Fort Lauderdale, FL office. The role involves managing a diverse book of commercial property & casualty accounts, maintaining customer relationships, and identifying cross-sell opportunities to enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities
Handle a diverse book of commercial property & casualty accounts
Maintain customer relationships
Market new business/renewals
Monitor and maintain service goals
Report and follow up on claims
Identify and seek cross-sell opportunities
Recommend agency operational improvements
Qualification
Required
Integrity – strength in the trust and relationships you build with your clients, co-workers, and brokers/underwriters
Intelligence – ability to learn new skills, add industry knowledge, and problem solve independently
Industry – desire to be productive during work hours and complete tasks efficiently
Preferred
prior commercial P&C industry experience
comfort using Applied Systems, electronic signature systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat etc
a 2-20 General Lines license will be required within 180 days of hire date
professionalism in oral and written communication
acquisition or pursuit of industry designations such as the CPCU
