Corporate Development Advisor
TransUnion is a leading global information and risk solutions provider, and they are seeking a Corporate Development Advisor to enhance their corporate development strategy. This role involves partnering with divisional and regional leaders to drive M&A and investment activities, ensuring the organization meets its growth objectives.

Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams to complete due diligence and integration planning for strategic initiatives and/or M&A transactions
Lead analysis, modeling and select deal components for domestic and global M&A transactions
Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses, including returns analysis and sensitivities based on guidance from more senior members of the team
Lead development of Basis of Interest document for internal reviews and approvals of transactions
Demonstrate business acumen beyond Corporate Development team. Pursue objectives and goals and recommend solutions influencing key outcomes
Support the development of solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
Develop presentations and potentially present to the C-Suite level
Support the development of advanced program initiatives and help guide their development into a final product or service that has impact within cross-functional teams
Assists with formulation of acquisition target criteria and prioritization of target universe, and maintains acquisition target pipeline
Build content to support a variety of Corporate Development process components including: Acquisition and strategic investment performance reporting, Monthly CEO reports, Board of Director meetings, Competitive analysis briefs/reports
Support other efforts as determined by leadership in Global Strategy and Corporate Development
Develop strategic insights based on market assessments grounded in primary and secondary research. Translate these insights to inform buy/build/partner market-entry and market-expansion options
Monitor and assess key trends and developments in TransUnion’s industry. Partner with internal teams to draw conclusions and recommendations
Research and analyze high priority strategic markets, including industry mapping and deep dives into targeted M&A and partnership opportunities
Develop robust market sizing analysis with limited/ambiguous data
Communicate with expert level detail on TransUnion's products, services, or internal information as necessary
Interact with functional experts across TU's business units to ensure completion of assigned work streams
Interact with senior management and business leaders as well as with external TransUnion clients and partners
Know the organization and understand the implications of change for affected departments
Qualification
Required
5-7 years post-undergraduate experience with at least 3-4 years in top-tier strategy consulting
Demonstrated profound understanding of strategy and M&A; and financial acumen
Strong leadership skills: ability to take initiative and ownership and effectively leverage resources to drive successfully outcomes
Strong problem solving skills: ability to break down complex problems into critical parts, identify the key causes and effectively prioritize and execute way forward
Strong critical thinking skills: ability to assimilate and understand new concepts in short time frames
Exceptional analytical skills: ability to logically and systematically visualize and efficiently tackle tasks; understanding and mastery of tools and methods to effectively support the Strategy and M&A process
Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
Outstanding interpersonal skills to positively influence outcomes and work across functions and levels of seniority
Highly organized, excellent project management abilities
Advanced fluency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Preferred
Additional experience in investment banking and/or corporate development is a plus
Experience in information services, financial services or digital industries preferred
