Ruoff Mortgage is looking for a Front End Development Intern for Summer 2026. This internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience by assisting the Front End Development team with various digital communication needs and improving existing systems.

Responsibilities

Assist Front End Development team with supporting all company related digital and electronic communication needs

Code, test, and troubleshoot programs utilizing appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology

Improves systems already in place by studying current practices, identifying problems, designing modifications, and writing improved procedures

Partners with other business groups to ensure accurate content is always on website

Manage records, logs, and reports of problems and resolutions

Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures

Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handling personal information; verbal and/or written documentation

Perform other tasks as requested

Required

Must be working towards Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related field

Attention to detail, multi-tasking and broad communication skills are essential

Ideal candidates must be enrolled in an Indiana college or university

Legally authorized to work in the U.S

Able to work in person at Ruoff Mortgage Corporate Headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Employment is subject to background and reference checks

Preferred

Previous web development training is a plus

Technical writing skills are a plus

Knowledge of HTML, CSS (SCSS, Tailwind), Javascript (Vue.JS, Nuxt), PHP, and other similar skills

Knowledge of Git or source/version control management systems are a plus

Proficient with Microsoft Office products-Excel, Word, Outlook
