InternAlbany International Corp. is a leading designer and manufacturer of lightweight composite aerospace structures. They are seeking a summer intern to support various improvement projects in their EHS department, assisting with procedural updates, exposure monitoring, and conducting audits.

Responsibilities
Assist in procedural updates to multiple EHS procedures
Exposure monitoring for hazardous dusts, hex chrome, and noise
Assess work areas for ergonomic hazards
Participate in offering training on safety related topics
Conduct PPE assessments and JHAs
Conduct regular EHS audits to identify non-compliances
Aid in preparation and distribution of weekly, non-sensitive EHS metrics
Conduct chemical inventories
Participate in incident investigations and root case analysis
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
The ability to complete multiple projects on schedule with minimal supervision
Must be able to commute to the facility
As a Department of Defense Contractor we are required to hire US Persons
