Project Delivery Manager

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be conversant in financial terms and metrics and have experience of reviewing these and identify potential concerns and items for Business Management Leaders to focus on
Candidate will take part in training our PMs with tools to successfully manage profitable projects, while providing quality deliverables to clients
A good communicator who can be proactive with PMs in all phases of Project Delivery life cycle from proposals to project close out
Leads in developing work plans for addressing technical issues within project time and budget
Provide administrative support to the project management team
Maintain accurate records and databases, including contact lists, project files, and correspondence
Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field
5-7 years of relevant post education experience
Proficient with MS Office Suite of Programs
Experience working on projects with responsibility for cost and schedule control and reporting internally within the company
Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience
Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
Demonstrated ability in risk identification and mitigation skills
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Ability to work schedules is conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek

Preferred

Professional Licensure/certification
Demonstrates excellence in providing high quality technical performance and oversight through innovative thinking and application of state-of-the-art tools
Competence in analytical techniques and modeling in tackling technical problems with some complexity
Broad knowledge of and experience with technical and project delivery
