The role involves developing into a subject matter expert in card issuing and payments while contributing data-driven insights to optimize programs and support business initiatives.
Payments
Responsibilities
Support agent issuer programs and high-value client segments, with the expectation of developing SME-level expertise over time
Serve as a point of contact for branches, management, and vendors, escalating issues as appropriate
Assist with risk, compliance, and sales integrity initiatives
Validate, track, and support approval of invoices; assist with budget and revenue tracking
Produce and maintain business line performance reporting
Support data requirements for BI reporting, direct mail suppression, client opt-out processes, and analytics
Maintain SharePoint content and assist with GL/DDA reconciliations
Partner with internal teams and vendors to support marketing and product initiatives
Prepare monthly and quarterly dashboards and trend analyses
Validate, track, and support approval of vendor invoices
Collaborate with product and operations teams to identify opportunities to improve program performance and efficiency
Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve business processes through data and analysis
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on analytical findings
Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and project-based initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or a related field
3+ years of experience in banking, payments, analytics, or a related financial services role preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
Proficiency in Excel and BI/reporting tools; experience working with data management systems
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
3+ years of experience in banking, payments, analytics, or a related financial services role preferred
Exposure to credit, debit, or ATM operations preferred
