Responsibilities
Utilize agency management system and carrier websites to process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
Working knowledge of Word and Excel
Provide front line service for book of business assigned to you by anticipating and addressing to customer needs in a timely and professional manner
Follow established agency policies and standard operating procedures
Interpret policy coverage, rates as required, and make changes as appropriate
Coordinate the marketing and placing of coverage with direction from Account Executive
Communicate, meet, and interact with company personnel as appropriate
Accountable for maintaining company underwriting, rating, marketing, bulletins, forms, and correspondence for company(ies) assigned and distributing information within the agency as necessary
Maintain and sustain good customer and company relations
Communicate and interact with client by phone, in person, or in writing
Prepare proposals, finance terms as required
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current PA State Property and Casualty insurance producer license and minimum of 5 years previous agency or company experience
Thorough knowledge of basic lines of insurance coverage and products
Familiarity with the Commercial Lines Manual and specific coverage forms
Interpret rate making and proven ability to operate company specific rating software
Professional appearance, strong mutual and communication skills, positive and professional attitude
