Responsibilities

Understand client organizations and processes, develop and maintain relationships at all levels, and position Jacobs as the consultant of choice

Leverage your leadership and people management skills to optimize team performance and deliver high-quality technical solutions

Play a key role in business development activities, including client relationship building, project positioning, teaming strategies, proposal preparation, presentations, and contract negotiations

Contribute to shaping our Alabama Water Market Strategy, delivering innovative solutions while expanding and diversifying our client base

Required

B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related discipline

Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible project management experience with water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects and municipal consulting

Professional Engineer (PE) required

Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, with a proven history of leading teams to successfully meet client expectations

Excellent oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, and team-oriented work practices

Strong data analysis, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills

Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships that lead to new and repeat work

Skilled in interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams
