Transmission Program Manager
WSP is currently seeking a Transmission Program Manager for their Ft. Worth, TX office. This role involves providing strategic leadership and oversight for high voltage electric power transmission and substation projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and client expectations.

Responsibilities
Establish, coordinate, and implement program delivery plans that align with WSP’s corporate goals and client expectations
Lead program-level planning, reporting, and performance management activities across multiple projects and disciplines
Lead the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, outage planning (local and regional), testing, commissioning, and project close out
Capable of identifying and securing new business including client development, proposal coordination and preparation, client presentations, negotiations, and project execution
Supervise and provide technical direction to project managers, engineers, and functional support staff involved in program execution
Oversee the development and enforcement of governance frameworks, project delivery standards, and escalation procedures
Ensure integration of scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality management across all components of the program
Conduct detailed analysis of project performance metrics and lead root cause analyses for schedule delays or budget overruns
Support senior-level engagement with clients and external partners through strategic program input and coordination
Review project documentation for consistency, accuracy, compliance, and alignment with program objectives
Develop and implement robust risk and opportunity management frameworks across all phases of the program lifecycle
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Management or a closely related discipline, or demonstrated proven equivalent experience
12+ years of relevant post-education experience in program management in large scale high voltage electric power projects including generation, transmission, substation or distribution projects
Extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary programs from inception to completion in infrastructure, transportation, or similar sectors
Strong understanding of integrated project delivery methods, including design-build, CM/GC, and other alternative models
Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale budgets and schedules while maintaining quality and compliance
Proven success implementing enterprise program controls, governance processes, and risk mitigation strategies
Experience with stakeholder engagement and management in both public and private sectors
Advanced knowledge of project controls software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other scheduling tools
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred
Master's Degree
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program management certification
Both consulting and electric utility (O&M) experience
On site construction management experience
