They are seeking an Assistant Station Leader to support their busy LAX operation, overseeing daily operations, supporting drivers, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering exceptional service to airline partners.

Responsibilities

Support daily oversight of a 24/7 ground-transportation operation at LAX
Assist in managing, coaching, and developing teams of drivers
Help maintain schedules, staffing levels, and workflow to meet airline requirements
Promote and enforce safety, DOT compliance, and company policies
Monitor performance metrics and escalate issues proactively
Help build strong relationships with airline partners and internal leadership
Step in as acting leader when Station Leader is off-site

Qualification

Leadership experienceTransportation knowledgeDOT regulations knowledgeCommunication skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, aviation, hospitality, or another high-volume service industry
A hands-on operator who is comfortable being visible and active in the field
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a 24/7/365 environment with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety best practices is a plus (training provided)
Must live in the LAX area
