Business Development Representative - Financial Services

They are seeking an entry-level Business Development Representative to build relationships with small businesses and qualify leads, with a clear pathway to senior roles and uncapped commission potential.

Responsibilities
Prospect new partners (equipment sellers & small-business providers) and build relationships from the ground up
Qualify leads, book meetings, and hand off strong opportunities to senior sales leaders
Onboard new partners and help them understand how to use the company’s financing programs
Educate dealer sales teams on working capital and equipment finance options
Become the go-to contact for partner questions, applications, and deal support
Maintain an active, moving pipeline of approvals, applications, and opportunities
Work cross-functionally with underwriting, funding, and sales leadership to get deals across the finish line
Track activity, report progress, and help identify new ways to grow partner relationships
Qualification
Required
1+ years of sales or BD experience (financial services background is a huge plus)
Strong phone presence and willingness to prospect daily
Relationship-builder who can quickly earn trust with small-business owners
Comfortable in a fast-moving, metrics-driven environment
Resilient — you can handle rejection and bounce back fast
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving pieces
Motivated by growth, commission, and long-term advancement
