Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in public relations; agency or journalism experience preferred; agency experience with startup/tech clients (Series A-C stage) strongly preferred over enterprise/corporate brand experience
Excellent writing skills. The ideal AD will know how to say A LOT with just a little. Like Coco Chanel's publicist once said, 'Before you send the pitch, look at the draft and take one thing out.' Brevity is better, and the ability to self-edit is mandatory
Strong media pitching skills, proven record of securing top tier placements and trade coverage
Ability to organize and manage multiple client accounts with the agility and speed that startup clients often require
Ability to win clients over, and make them happy to see you by providing an exceptional client service experience to founders, CMOs, and executives who expect both strategic thinking and tactical excellence
Comfort with ambiguity, pivots, and the 'build the plane while flying it' mentality common in high-growth companies
A desire to plant roots and grow with a rapidly scaling team of remote-always PR professionals
