Supervisor, Cabin Upgrades Engineering

Responsibilities
Lead and guide a team of engineering professionals to develop and deliver completed engineering requirements for assigned projects
Build and maintain a high performing, responsive engineering team with qualified technical expertise to assure availability and depth of critical competencies, skills and delegations to support multiple aircraft modification activities
Responsible for the annual Performance and Development (P&D) process for the group, including performance assessments, training and talent management
Represent the team in global team lead meetings, committees, and other business meetings
Develop workload model for team and effectively manage workload within team members
Collaborate with counterparts in Hamburg and Toulouse on all topics related to this position, including ways of working, process and business improvement, engineering methods, certification and compliance, quality and business acumen
Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, regulatory requirements, company standards and customer contract requirements
Responsible for Design Organization Manual adherence and managing process updates and improvements
Lead aircraft embodiments and in service issues related to Cabin upgrades
Contribute to the Safety Management System established within the organization
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical /Aeronautic/Civil /Electrical Engineering)
13 years experience within the aviation industry, specifically in aircraft cabin engineering and development process, and knowledge of associated design, certification and qualification requirements
5 years of Technical Leadership Experience
Experience in cabin equipment / cabin integration
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience leading a technical team of aviation personnel
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to understand and mentor principles within assigned discipline
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical aircraft topics
Excellent communication, coordination, and organization skills
Ability to inter-relate with and motivate diverse teams
Authorized to work in the US
