Responsibilities
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Reads and interprets blueprints and programs
Performs a variety of complicated tasks
May lead and direct the work of others and is a qualified trainer (on skills matrix)
Follow 6S guidelines in the work area
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Familiar with a variety of Aerospace concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to perform within tight tolerances and work within already established parameters
Experience with tolerances of +/- .001
The use and understanding of a variety of gages including but not limited to Bore gages, Johnson gages, Pitch Mics and an indicator for setting and establishing work offsets
Preferred
Experience with mill/turns is a plus
