Lead Avionics Systems Engineer

The Lead Avionics Systems Engineer will technically lead and develop engineering teams responsible for the system design and development of Bombardier M222 Applications, focusing on systems integration and customer liaison.

Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements, implement integration solutions and generate target builds
Strong knowledge AFCS, FMS, Displays systems development activities and systems integration of various sub systems on target hardware
Support the development, integration, testing activities of avionics solutions to meet program requirements
Lead coordination with product groups and customer focals and be a liaison to the customers by owning the technical solution of the program
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
Strong problem-solving capabilities and has the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Possesses strong knowledge of avionics architecture, Model based development(MBD) processes and tools
Qualification
Required
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
Bachelors or Masters in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience working various application areas supporting avionics functions or in aerospace systems engineering
Minimum 3 years' experience working in systems definition, requirements capture, systems test procedures and reviews
Preferred
Proven systems engineering and integration expertise of Anthem systems and sub systems
Expertise with integrating various sub systems and modules on SITS bench by working with a cross functional team
Possess good understanding of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers (internal and external)
Good communicator of vision, ideas and work requirement. Should have demonstrated transformational results (Innovation, Productivity, Technology) through cross collaboration
