Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage Production Engineering Technicians, including hiring, training, planning, performance management, and conflict resolution
Evaluate, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling for efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness
Conduct root cause analyses and recommend design, tolerance, or process changes to enhance production performance
Manage and track capital projects, including justification, selection, design, and implementation, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and scope
Collaborate with design engineering to develop manufacturing methods for new products and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, fabrication, assembly, and materials
Experience in project management, process improvement, and lean manufacturing
Leadership experience, including team development, performance management, and conflict resolution
Preferred
Advanced understanding of safety, environmental, and quality standards in manufacturing
Experience with capital equipment justification and implementation
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to foster a positive team culture
