Responsibilities
Design and engineer HVAC and data center cooling systems and major equipment components
Support new product development, concept generation, and engineering feasibility studies
Research and evaluate emerging technologies applicable to data center cooling
Develop and maintain engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
Support prototype builds, testing, and performance analysis
Participate in cross-functional design and technical reviews
Provide technical input on complex, engineered-to-order applications
Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards (e.g. ASHRAE, UL, AHRI)
Support continuous improvement across product design and manufacturing
Mentor and technically support other engineers
Maintain accurate BOMs, drawings, and engineering records
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
7+ years of experience in HVAC, data center cooling, or thermal systems engineering
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics
Experience designing HVAC equipment, cooling systems, or packaged units
Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
Comfortable working in office, lab, and manufacturing environments
Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
