Responsibilities

Analyze trading activity and investigate real-time alerts to identify potentially abusive trading behavior and market anomalies
Prepare clear, comprehensive written reports and analyses for management and client review
Partner with clients, legal teams, and internal stakeholders to address market surveillance inquiries and strengthen compliance programs
Support audits, examinations, and regulatory technology projects that drive continuous improvement
Develop and deliver training programs and maintain documentation that ensures effective surveillance practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
3–5 years of experience in market surveillance, compliance, trading operations, or equities markets
Strong understanding of equities markets, trading strategies, and regulatory obligations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Clear communicator with experience preparing professional reports and working collaboratively across teams

Preferred

Experience with regulatory technology platforms or surveillance systems
Familiarity with SEC regulations and compliance frameworks
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools
FINRA Series 7 license preferred
