The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a State Park Intern to join the Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (DCNR). This internship provides hands-on experience in park operations and environmental education, assisting with marketing efforts and community engagement at Presque Isle State Park.

Assist Marketing Department staff with implementing the Quarterly Action Plan

Develop press releases and marketing collateral to promote seasonal programs

Develop power point presentations and assist with planning and organizing special events

Develop productive business relationships with targeted community groups to promote programs and services

Required

Enrollment in good academic standing as a FULL-TIME student in a two-year, bachelor's or advanced degree program in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or an approved major course which includes a qualifying 24 credit hours of study in the physical, biological and environmental sciences

Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)

Freshman year completed by May 2026

Pennsylvania residency or enrollment of a Pennsylvania college or university

Possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension

Able to perform essential job functions

Complete Child Abuse, Criminal and Federal Criminal History Checks within 10 days of hire
