Responsibilities

Identify and research prospective equine and companion animal veterinary practices
Independently develop and manage a pipeline of qualified leads
Execute outbound outreach efforts including:
Cold and warm phone calls
Email and digital outreach
In-person visits and field-based relationship building
Schedule meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with veterinary decision-makers
Maintain accurate documentation of outreach, leads, and progress in CRM tools
Build trusted relationships with veterinarians, practice managers, and key stakeholders
Represent Ardent Animal Health professionally during phone calls, virtual meetings, and on-site visits
Develop an understanding of client needs and align Ardent solutions accordingly
Support long-term business growth through consistent follow-up and relationship nurturing
Work independently while aligning with company growth objectives
Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights
Collaborate with internal teams to support client onboarding and retention efforts

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, animal science, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer engagement, or related roles
Strong communication skills—comfortable speaking with professionals via phone and in person
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a field-based environment
Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Willingness to travel locally or regionally for client visits as needed

Preferred

Interest in or familiarity with veterinary medicine, animal health, or the equine/companion animal industry
