Responsibilities
Review and enter all rate exceptions. Working with billing coordinators, secretaries, and/or partners to clarify distinct rate requirements prior to processing
Ensure timekeeper maintenance, including opening and terminating timekeepers in Aderant
Maintain the online workflow database and accurately enter client and matter information in the financial system
Responsible for processing maintenance requests submitted to the CMI email inbox
Advise firm attorneys and support staff in all offices regarding intake form and system setup questions
Maintain DailyTime mailbox and respond to individual requests
Initiate requests for supporting documentation and review for accuracy
Log, generate, and distribute financial reports based on audit requests from clients in a timely fashion
Perform additional general office duties as assigned by the Billing Services Supervisor, including answering calls for the department, opening mail and preparing mail logs, responding to email requests and supporting various office administrative requests
Assist with back-up requests as needed
Qualification
Required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize effectively
Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office
Preferred
College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
One year of legal billing experience preferred
Experience with Aderant Expert preferred
