Responsibilities
Lead technical design and development for Guidewire PolicyCenter Commercial Lines implementations
Configure and customize Product Model, PCF, Gosu Rules, Data Model extensions, and Workflows
Design and implement complex rating solutions, including Standards-Based Templates (SBT), rate tables, modifiers, and underwriting rules
Lead SBT template creation, versioning, deployment, and testing
Design and develop integrations using REST/SOAP web services, messaging, and Guidewire Integration Framework
Ensure solutions follow Guidewire best practices and are upgrade safe
Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, and mentoring
Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, business, QA, and integration teams
Own technical deliverables and support defect resolution across environments
Qualification
Required
8+ years of overall software development experience with 5+ years on Guidewire InsuranceSuite
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter – Commercial Lines
Proven expertise in Guidewire configuration: Product Model, PCF, Gosu Rules, Data Model
Strong experience in Rating: Rate routines, Rate tables, Modifiers, Underwriting and eligibility rules
Hands-on experience with Standards-Based Templates (SBT)
Solid integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs and messaging
Strong understanding of Commercial Lines insurance products and processes (e.g., GL, BOP, Commercial Auto, Workers' Comp)
Ability to lead teams and take ownership of end-to-end technical solutions
Guidewire Cloud Certification – Las Leñas ski release (minimum)
