Mohawk Valley Health System is seeking a Sr Learning and Development Specialist who is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating learning solutions that support employee success and organizational performance. The role involves managing training initiatives, leading employee orientation, and enhancing engagement programs to strengthen the organizational culture.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and evaluate learning programs that support clinical and non-clinical staff

Facilitate leadership development workshops, professional skills training, and team-building sessions

Conduct training needs assessments and partner with leaders to develop solutions that improve performance and engagement

Maintain a library of training resources and ensure content is current, relevant, and accessible

Provide 1:1 coaching and development support for employees and leaders

Collaborate closely with the Director of Organizational Development and provide backup coverage during absences to ensure ongoing support for training, engagement, and development initiatives

Lead and continually improve New Employee Orientation

Develop, implement, and manage employee recognition programs that reinforce culture and values

Support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, action planning, and culture-building activities

Facilitate team assessments, conflict resolution discussions, and problem-solving sessions as needed

Performs other duties as required
