Valvoline Global Operations is a pioneer in the automotive and industrial solutions industry. The Technical Services & Field Test (R&D) Intern will assist with field test projects, analyze data related to lubricants, and support new product development and industry approvals.

Responsibilities

Analyze used oil data based on application, vehicle or asset type, and duty cycle
Assist with field test projects focused on lubricants such as engine oil, transmission oil, and gear oil to achieve industry approvals and support performance claims
Participate in engine inspections
Perform data analysis and communicate results with engineers and scientists
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion

Qualification

Mechanical knowledgeData analysis skillsChemical knowledgeMicrosoft OfficeTeamworkCommunication

Required

Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Chemical, Data Science, or Engineering college program
Good teamwork mentality
Good communication skills
Good computer knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
The ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 40lbs

Preferred

Mechanical knowledge and data analysis skills
