Exbo Group is looking for an exceptional individual to join their CFO & Controllership Advisory practice as a Senior Analyst. This role involves providing financial analysis, operational support, and data-driven insights to clients, while also supporting financial operations and advisory functions.

Financial Services

Responsibilities

Support the financial analysis and reporting needs of growth-stage clients
Develop and maintain financial models for clients’ operational and strategic decision-making
Analyze and reconcile client accounts, research discrepancies, and propose solutions
Provide data-driven insights to clients, identifying opportunities for operational improvement
Carry out month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Prepare variance analysis reports and presentations for clients
Work with the Engagement teams & clients to identify and implement financial operations software solutions
Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business models and provide tailored recommendations
Support external audits by preparing and assisting in delivering requested documents
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting
Contribute to ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by Engagement Managers or as requested by clients

Required

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting or related field
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Experience with financial modeling and analysis
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or other ERP systems, like Netsuite
High attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in work output
Strong knowledge of financial principles and concepts, including variance analysis
Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to present information clearly and effectively
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
Enjoys working with and advising a diverse set of growing companies
