Responsibilities

Build state of the art automotive prototype vehicle, systems, and subsystems
Work closely with Design engineers and identify potential assembly and service issues
Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment
Evaluate engineering prototypes on the road to acquire various types of data
Service instrumentation systems and wire harnesses

Required

Proficient with wiring and sensor installation and check out
Able to diagnose basic wiring problems
Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and possible overtime including supporting test trips to various locations around the mid-west US and occasional trips to California HQ. Estimated travel 20%
Basic computer skills for issue reporting
Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly both written and orally
Exceptional ability and desire to learn new skills and tools ability to apply oneself in new problems in a dynamic lean start-up environment
Proof of excellence in your past position, while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical problems
5 years automobile technician experience
Valid US driver's license
Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification or equivalent professional vehicle service expertise

Associates degree or equivalent training
Experience working on fully electric vehicles
Professional Race team experience
Fabrication and wiring experience
Luxury automotive technician experience
Experience working on fully electric vehicles
