Responsibilities

The Bulk Dispatcher II position will be responsible for outstanding service to our customers thru the coordination and scheduling of bulk fuel logistics throughout the AEG Fuels network

The primary role will be to facilitate the scheduling of customer order requests with third-party carriers within defined requested timelines and following AEG purchasing decisions

Additional responsibilities include tracking deliveries, updating sales representatives and customers on delivery timings, and interfacing with Inventory Managers during supply chain critical disruptions per region to ensure the safety of supply

This position works closely with Transportation, Inventory & Logistics, Dispatch, and Sales Teams to support the overall execution and profitability of general aviation (GA), military, FBO, and commercial contracts

The Bulk Dispatcher II position is an integral part of AEG’s development and deployment of the bulk fuel distribution program in North America

Outstanding Customer Service: Ability to form and keep strong relationships with our customers

Detailed Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and professionally to Customers, Vendors, and Internal Stakeholders as necessary

Fuel Operations, Logistics & Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling of fuel deliveries via truckload movements to our customer locations

Airline/Aviation Experience: Familiarity with industry airport ICAOs along with jet fuel-specific loading and handling requirements

Business and relationship development with key operations and logistics providers: act as primary interface with FBOs, trucking companies, suppliers, and other service providers

Market pricing: Understanding pricing methodologies and providers (Platts, Argus, OPIS) with the ability to effectively cost fuel according to AEG purchasing decisions

Good attitude, self-motivated, with a drive to make the job better than you found it
