The Central Processing Tech I will handle responsibilities such as decontaminating, cleaning, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical devices to ensure patient safety and compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Collect & handle used instruments, to treat with different chemicals to sterilize them for future use
Package, store and distribute instruments whilst providing strong documentation where needed and assigned
Maintain records and update inventory to ensure all sterilized items are accounted for
Coordinate and communicate with surgical teams to meet the demand for sterilized equipment
