TEMPORARY Communications Center Customer Service Representative – Denver, CO
The Colorado Department of Revenue is seeking a Temporary Communications Center Customer Service Representative to assist with public inquiries related to Colorado Parks and Wildlife. The role involves researching and providing accurate information, handling customer service requests, and assisting with training new employees as needed.

Responsibilities
Develop methods for determining the best, most accurate answers to the public’s inquiries
Determine proper referral for information requests
Perform as an agent for the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Communications Center
Research and formulate answers in an accurate and timely manner to inquiries received through 'ASK CPW', phone inquiries, and through the mail
Disseminate Colorado State Parks information, wildlife-related resources, educational materials, and provide customer assistance regarding OHV, Boat and snowmobile registrations, hunting, fishing, and camping inquiries submitted through, call-in, mail-in, and e-mail requests
Answer specific questions about the status of customer accounts with Colorado Parks and Wildlife
Assist with processing chronic wasting disease reimbursements for eligible customers and contacting hunters regarding positive chronic wasting disease results
Qualification
Required
Must be 16 years of age or older
Must have a current & valid drivers' license or reliable transportation
Applicants may be subject to successful completion of a comprehensive background check
Must be willing and able to work 40 hours per week
Must be available to work Monday through Friday – 8 AM to 5 PM
Possess strong interpersonal communication skills to deliver excellent customer service
Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Google Suites (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive)
Preferred
Preference may be given to applicants with or working towards a Natural Resources degree or similar education
Previous experience working with the public is helpful
Bilingual is helpful but not required
