Responsibilities

Advise employers of all sizes in all aspects of employment counseling and litigation
Contribute significantly to counseling services and litigation efforts
Manage employment-related litigation process from discovery through trial
Draft discovery motions, motions to dismiss, and summary judgement
Counsel clients on a wide range of employment matters, including employee discipline and termination, policy creation and administration, wage and hour matters, restrictive covenants, employment contracts, internal investigations, and leave of absence issues

Required

4 to 6 years of experience in labor and employment law
A deep understanding of employment litigation, including claims for discrimination, retaliation, trade secret misappropriation, wage and hour violations, and other employment claims
Experience with the deposition process and preparation
Ability to independently manage projects while effectively collaborating within a team environment
Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills, along with superior research and analytical capabilities
Experience managing employment-related litigation process from discovery through trial, including drafting discovery motions, motions to dismiss, and summary judgement
Robust experience counseling clients on a wide range of employment matters, including, but not limited to, employee discipline and termination, policy creation and administration, wage and hour matters, restrictive covenants, employment contracts, internal investigations, and leave of absence issues
Outstanding academic credentials
Candidates must be in good standing with the New York State Bar
