Responsibilities

Perform engineering studies for electrical distribution systems. This includes short-circuit studies, coordination studies, arc flash hazard analyses, load flow analyses and motor starting studies

Evaluate protective device ratings, develop time-current coordination plots to optimize overcurrent settings for circuit breakers and/or relays, and calculate incident energy levels at equipment locations

Provide recommendations to improve system reliability and/or help end users work more safely

Review specifications, customer drawings, and technical proposals

Communicate directly with clients regarding project status, results, and future needs

Collaborate with senior engineers to help scale and improve the delivery of our solutions

Responsible for performing technical work, managing projects, and other related tasks as directed by the Company’s CEO or his designee

Contribute individually and as part of a team to nationwide power system study projects
