Responsibilities
Inspect machined, welded, and pressure-tested components
Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure components meet established quality standards
Perform first article inspections of incoming and finished components
Perform pressure and leak testing
Generate MRN for non-conforming materials and components
Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures
Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
Train production staff on quality standards and best practices, and enforce quality assurance procedures throughout the facility
Work collaboratively on continuous improvement initiatives
Calibrate inspection tools
Maintain accurate records
Participate in internal and external audits
Ensure regulatory compliance
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
10+ years of experience in quality inspection and quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of weld inspection techniques for MIG & TIG welding and laser welding
Formal training in blueprint reading and geometric tolerance
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and quality testing equipment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Experience with machining, welding, and pressure/leak testing processes
