Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing alumni events, reunions, and engagement activities to strengthen alumni connections with the university

Oversee event timelines and deliverables, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within the assigned event budget

Execute day-of event logistics while acting as event host

Help create and maintain communication channels to inform alumni about university updates and events. Communication formats: print, email, and social media platforms

Assist with maintaining alumni information on the Indiana Tech website

Attend alumni association board and committee meetings

Create relationships with alumni to grow event attendance and volunteer participation

Engage with alumni and donors to encourage their participation in annual giving efforts

Assist in stewardship efforts by recognizing and expressing appreciation to alumni

Work within the alumni database to search and update alumni records

Utilize database systems to set up event registration, send communication, and track alumni engagement

Research alumni backgrounds and interests to tailor engagement strategies

Complete other duties as assigned
