Responsibilities
Leadership: Essential in directing production associates and prioritizing daily work flow
Manage the planning and scheduling of MRO work orders to facilitate maximum on-time shipments to our customers and with minimum past due
Evaluate shop capacities and determine optimum operative staffing levels necessary to support customer demand. Work with engineering to evaluate future needs based on growth models
Assist Manufacturing Engineer in development of labor standards for direct labor functions. Collect, validate and maintain standard labor hours by product and operation in the business operating system
Coordinate with the Materials Manager to ensure the optimum efficiency of all supply chain resources in meeting our customers, shareholders, and associate’s needs
Evaluate causes for past due. Work with Lean and Engineering to reduce causes
Monitors status of WIP in effort to assure OTDp goals are met
Works with IT to develop tools to improve accuracy and efficiency of data
Qualification
Required
High school diploma minimum
5+ years experience in aviation/aerospace/Mfg
ERP/MRP system experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Effective presentation skills
Cycle and process time analysis
Maintenance of standard days/hours
Materials and inventory control
Preferred
B.S. degree in Business/Supply Chain
Proficiency in EPICOR
