Responsibilities
Oversee and troubleshoot critical weldments ensuring best practices for weld fit-up, cleanliness requirements and weld parameters are followed. This includes daily support to hardware flow
Develop weld parameters and document best practices to support production
Perform work to meet program targets and schedules
Define weld machine/specification requirements
Perform root cause analysis and complete corrective action determinations accurately and in a timely manner
Accurately report problems, solutions, and results, in concise written and oral communications. Communicate effectively between team members and customer counterparts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant welding experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related welding experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related welding experience
Preferred
Familiarity with tube bending and metal fitting
Understanding of weld fixtures and pre-weld / post weld locations
