This role involves reviewing invoices for accuracy, matching them to purchase orders, and ensuring timely processing of payments while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting vendor communication.

Responsibilities

Review vendor invoices for accuracy

Verify line item charges, discounts, and freight charges

Identify invoice errors and apply company policy and procedure to correct them

Match invoices to respective purchase orders and schedule payments based on purchase contract terms

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

Reconcile vendor statements and communicate findings appropriately

Perform vendor statement reconciliation and maintain accurate records

Track, process, and complete accounts payable transactions including documentation accuracy and issue resolution

Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned in support of Finance and Accounting objectives
