New Jersey Performing Arts Center is seeking a Program/Education Assistant who will demonstrate strong leadership qualities and a commitment to Arts Education programming. The role involves representing NJPAC, creating a positive environment for students, and collaborating with the Operations Team to manage program challenges and support daily operations.

Responsibilities

Represent NJPAC as the voice and face of the program on Saturdays

Create a positive environment in which students feel comfortable, safe and engaged

In collaboration with the Operations Team, implement effective procedures to manage program-wide challenges

Communicate clearly and productively with the Operations Team regarding student progress, engagement, and behavior

Work with the Operations Team to support day-to-day business affairs (payroll questions, Letters of Assignment, student invoices, etc.), on-site faculty support, and program assistant oversight

Observe daily classes and be able to communicate observations to Operations and Curriculum team as needed

Work with the Operations Team to assist in any special and/or culminating events

Facilitate daily operations including attendance, student sign-in, class transitions, lunch, room set-up, clean-up, and student dismissal
