Responsibilities
Examine and analyze the general ledger and financial statements, and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP
Develop detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end work papers
Process monthly construction loan requisitions
Oversee the coding and review of contractor and vendor invoices, coordinate invoice approvals, monitor loan budgets, ensure timely funding of loan requisitions, and supervise vendor payments
Support the management of auditor engagements for completion of annual audit reports
Deliver timely and accurate information to owners, lenders, and external partners
Verify that all job cost transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system and reflected accurately in job cost reports
Execute special projects as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
3+ years of accounting experience
Preferred
Development of construction experience is a plus
Public, combo or private experience
Experience with JD Edwards, Textura, or Hubble reporting software is a plus
CPA preferred
