Responsibilities
Assessing near-term market risks and executing trades to optimize output value
Reconciling trading positions and virtual awards
Supporting development and execution of trading strategies using virtuals, congestion, and futures products
Monitoring weather models to evaluate and mitigate weather risk
Collaborating with Market Analytics to create ongoing market and trading evaluation reports
Assisting in new market entry and capabilities, such as capacity markets
Qualification
Required
experience in real-time or virtual trading, or equivalent experience
strong knowledge of US power markets, including ERCOT
demonstrate analytical skills and proficiency with Python, R, VBA, or SQL a plus
communicate effectively and build strong relationships across teams
adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
