Outside Sales Representative - Commercial Services
Cogent Analytics is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in their commercial-only service lines. This role focuses on developing new customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and maintaining a disciplined sales pipeline that aligns with operational capacity and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and close new commercial customers
Develop relationships with facility managers, property managers, and institutional clients
Target opportunities aligned with USS’s operational strengths and crew capabilities
Expand services within existing accounts through additional buildings, campuses, or upgraded scopes
Promote compliance-driven and specialty services where appropriate
Partner with operations to ensure sold work is executable, profitable, and compliant
Maintain accurate, real-time opportunity data in the Company CRM
Provide reliable forecasting and pipeline visibility
Submit required sales activity and performance reports
Work closely with operations, supervision, and management
Ensure scopes are clearly defined and expectations are realistic
Support smooth handoff from sale to execution
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in commercial B2B sales
Comfort selling technical or compliance-driven services
Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex accounts
Strong organizational and communication skills
CRM proficiency and reporting discipline
Preferred
Working knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, or related building systems
