Responsibilities

Directly lead, coach, and manage accountability for the Accounting team, overseeing core functions including AR, Credit/Collections (CFS), and Treasury Management

Own the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining robust internal controls, policies, and procedures

Serve as the owner of the Sage Intacct G/L System and Chart of Accounts, maximizing system utility to provide deep business insights

Manage all external engagements, including full ownership of the Annual Audit and preparation of information for Income Tax filings

Partner with the Director of FP&A on Monthly Forecasting, Annual Planning, and providing clear, actionable financial data to leadership for critical business decisions

Oversee payroll, administer the Employee 401k Benefit Plan, manage Business Insurance, and maintain the safe custody of assets and corporate records

Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives within the Accounting team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Required

10+ years of experience in an accounting role, including 4+ years in a leadership capacity

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Advanced proficiency with Sage Intacct (G/L System)

Exceptional Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills

Demonstrated ability to provide direction, coaching, and hold accountability with staff, while also being receptive to direction and coaching themselves

A highly motivated problem solver with the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
