Responsibilities
Assist with mailers that are to be sent out domestically and internationally
Booking couriers via online applications and phone. (Urgent Couriers, FedEx, UPS etc.) Making sure deadlines are kept and correct clients are being charged
Receiving all boxes and packages on behalf of Purple. All team members are notified about their deliveries via email or via Microsoft TEAMS
Steaming and merchandising the packages that have been returned back to Purple
General maintenance of the beauty showroom
Proactively monitoring all media, print, digital and social channels for brand coverage and competitor activity, scanning relevant articles for distribution around the team
Compiling media lists for events and press releases
Supporting with AD-HOC projects as requested
Qualification
Required
Proven experience, full time, or internship at a mid-sized PR agency within a luxury beauty environment
Demonstrate solid understanding of and ongoing interest in Logistics
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines. Excellent prioritizing and time management
Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Familiarity with the organization of press reports and press clips
Demonstrate solid understanding of and ongoing interest in media relations and strategy
Extremely well-organized, methodical, and efficient, with strong initiative
Excellent organisational and time management skills with an aptitude for multi-tasking
