Responsibilities
Develop automation solutions for complex CATIA design geometry to enhance designer productivity and design quality
Implement optimization, calculation, and analytical methods within CATIA environments
Create and maintain standardized templates, layouts, and automated design workflows
Apply CATIA automation techniques to improve design output, accuracy, and consistency
Translate designer requirements into detailed technical specifications and automation logic
Plan, set, and maintain development schedules for automation projects
Create clear, comprehensive documentation for automation tools and processes
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE in design and template development
Strong proficiency in: CATIA Design Software, CATIA Native VBA, VB.NET, VBScript, CATIA Scripts (CATScripts)
Proven experience applying automation tools within CATIA V5
In-depth knowledge of CATIA Knowledgeware, including: UDF (User Defined Features), PowerCopy, EKL (Engineering Knowledge Language), Knowledge Patterns, Optimizer, Rules and Reactions
Ability to clearly define designer requirements, automation logic, and technical workflows
Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred
Experience working in large-scale engineering or manufacturing environments
Exposure to design standardization and process optimization initiatives
