Electrical Engineer, Firmware/Power Electronics
Electro Standards Laboratories is a Rhode Island–based engineering and manufacturing company with over 45 years of innovation, and they are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will design and develop advanced electronic hardware products, contributing to technologies that support the U.S. Department of Defense and commercial industries.

Responsibilities
Design digital and analog hardware , including CPLD programmable logic
Development of power electronic converters
Develop and modify firmware and control applications for new and existing products
Conduct research and document results, product updates, and design modifications
Collaborate with software and mechanical engineers on product development
Manage project timelines to ensure on-schedule delivery
Ensure all designs meet high standards of reliability and quality
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship required (due to Department of Defense contract requirements)
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Preferred
Experience with firmware programming and CPLD programming is a plus
Familiarity with Altium Designer (or equivalent schematic capture software)
Knowledge of Simulink/Matlab, DSP-based systems, and power electronics is a plus
