Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Residency Program Director to launch and shape a brand-new residency program. This role involves defining the educational mission, fostering the next generation of OB/GYN specialists, and maintaining an engaging clinical practice within a collaborative group.

Responsibilities

Launch and shape the OB/GYN residency program
Establish the curriculum, culture, and legacy of the program
Define the educational mission for the residency program
Foster the next generation of OB/GYN specialists
Maintain an engaging clinical practice within the multispecialty group
Provide mentorship and support for residents
Collaborate with advanced practice providers in clinical practice
Ensure high-quality care is emphasized over patient volume
Utilize state-of-the-art facilities and technology
Access Gynecologic Oncology and Perinatology services
Manage dedicated administrative time for residency program responsibilities
Potential for academic appointments and faculty roles
Engage in community health care research and teaching leadership

MD/DOABOG/AOBOG Board Certified5+ years OBGYN experience3+ years faculty experienceACLS certificationBLS certificationTeaching leadershipCommunity-engaged researchInstructional skillsPresentation skills

ABOG/AOBOG Board Certified
unrestricted CA Medical License (current/eligible)
DEA number
5+ years as a practicing OBGYN Physician
3+ years faculty experience (educational/administrative) in an ACGME-accredited OBGYN Residency Program
Demonstrated teaching leadership
community-engaged health care research experience
strong instructional and presentation skills
Current ACLS and BLS

Preferred

Robotic surgery experience is a plus
