Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Documentation: Create and update documentation for determining Facility Ratings of generator and/or transmission facilities
Methodology Development: Develop and maintain methodologies and processes for determining Facility Ratings, ensuring they comply with NERC standards
Compliance Assurance: Ensure that Facility Ratings do not exceed the most limiting applicable Equipment Rating of the individual equipment that comprises the facility
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Engineering & Construction, Power Generation, Compliance and Ethics and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent application of Facility Ratings
Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and stakeholders on FAC-008 requirements and methodologies
Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing for and responding to NERC audits related to Facility Ratings as well as meeting NextEra internal controls to ensure compliance
Support Role: Assist and Support O&P Team on developing and maintaining Processes for other NERC Standards such as MOD-032 and EOP-012
Plans and develops engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial complexities which have important impact on major company programs
Acts as technical liaison to individuals within and outside the organization with responsibility to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to individual's field
Completes assignments given in broad terms concerning general objectives and limitations
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
Experience: 5+ years
Preferred
Supervisor/Management Experience: 0+ years
