Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing methods, process flows, and operational sequences to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost
Design and oversee the creation of tools, fixtures, and assembly processes to support complex production requirements
Collaborate closely with design engineering to review product designs, ensure manufacturability, and drive smooth product launches
Perform detailed manufacturing cost analyses, establish labor standards, and recommend process and tooling improvements
Develop, maintain, and standardize manufacturing work instructions, standard operating procedures, and documentation
Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing engineering, production, procurement, quality, and inspection
Lead initiatives in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and labor efficiency, using data-driven analysis
Champion 5S principles, continuous improvement, and EHS compliance throughout the manufacturing environment

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred
Extensive experience reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and other manufacturing design software
Deep understanding of mechanical and electronic assembly principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, high-performance environment

Preferred

Expertise in statistical analysis and applied mathematics (probability, geometry, trigonometry)
Familiarity with manufacturing standards, process documentation, and ERP systems
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
