Practice Builder - Landscape Architecture
Kimley-Horn is a leading firm in Landscape Architecture, seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager (Practice Builder) to expand their practice in Orlando, FL. The role involves leading business development efforts, managing client relationships, overseeing project tasks, and mentoring younger staff while fostering growth within the practice.

Responsibilities
Work in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects including private and public development throughout the region for a wide variety of clients
Manage, lead, and expand practice teams for high end design and technically complicated projects
Project experience will be diverse as we provide services to both public and private sectors
Has an entrepreneurial spirit and create a vision for growth for the high end design practice and beyond
Given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business
Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor

Qualification
Required
8+ years experience growing and leading a landscape architecture practice/studio
Registered Professional/Certified Landscape Architect (PLA/CLA) license or ability to obtain in 1 year
Experience developing relationships with extensive client contacts
Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, developing scopes of work, and creating budgets for projected work
Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems and working with the team to deliver
Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills
