Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work culture

Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and support the ongoing growth and development of team members

Establish clear goals, track performance, and coach engineers to support both individual and team success

Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions

Drive the execution of software projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Leverage APIs, cloud technologies, and modern development practices to build solutions integrated with enterprise systems

Partner with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and align on technical direction

Collaborate with DevOps teams to support streamlined CI/CD pipelines and robust application monitoring

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences

Maintain coding standards, system design principles, and adherence to enterprise security and compliance policies

Document system designs, processes, and technical configurations to support knowledge sharing and future scalability

Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into solution design

Identify and act on opportunities to improve development processes, system performance, and reliability

Champion innovation and the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring role

Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles

Experience designing and building APIs and RESTful services, with hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS) and data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV

Experience working with middleware technologies and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

Experience supporting large-scale data sets and high-transaction systems

Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and lead engineering teams

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical, high-quality solutions

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
