Responsibilities

Support a variety of tasks related to ports/marine civil infrastructure projects
Assist with the preparation of general project documentations and technical materials
Participate in basic design, analysis, or modeling activities under supervision
Provide general assistance to project managers and engineers throughout the project lifecycle
Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional
Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

Required

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or in another related field and must have completed at least 1 year of study
Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the Master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions
Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship

Preferred

An interest in ports/marine civil infrastructure projects
Experience with design or drafting software such as AutoCAD or other modeling tools preferred
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
